LEGENDARY

PUNK ROCK STARS:

HEY, HO, LETS GO!:

COMMUNITY PARTNERS:

the day of the event

DATE: PUNX IN THE PARK will take place on September 16, 2023. Please check back for confirmed date once solidified.

TIME: 11:00am to 6:00pm

PLACE: PITP takes place at Marion Square Skate Park at 220 Union St NE, Salem, OR 97301.

PRICE: Free. Freakin’ FREE!!!!

Here are some helpful tips for you for the day of the event to keep in mind.

the PARK AND SKATE PARK

The park will be open to anyone who wants to attend the event FOR FREE.

The skate park will be open for anyone to bring their skateboards, scooters, bikes, etc. and enjoy it.

Parking: there is public parking close to the park, across the street near Gilbert House, and at nearby parking garages. There will be no parking onsite.

Public Transit: multiple bus lines will be available thanks to CHERRIOTS. Please check bus line schedules for more information. Youth may ride buses to PITP for free.

Loud rock music

We consider this to be a family freindly event for all ages. However, it is a punk rock concert with multiple bands that are high energy. Be mindful of the loud sound and the enthusiastic crowd! Little ones may want to use sound deafening ear protection.

Because of our mission to provide a positive environment, we have asked bands to avoid using lyrics that glorify drugs, alcohol and other potentially harmful themes.

FOOD AND DRINK

Local food trucks will be on site serving free meals to the youth in attendance. Youth may pick up meal tickets at the information booth.

Not a youth? Don’t worry! The food trucks will be open for business for you too at normal retail prices. Thanks for supporting them!

What you can bring
